Style of Dance
When establishing Roots of Rhythm I had in mind more of a stage School rather than just a Dance School!
When preparing for one of our shows, I ensure that each class has a wide variety of styles to learn, perfect & perform.
A lot of young children cringe at the thought of going a ballet class, as someone who has done a lot of ballet training I know the benefits can withhold.
Here at Roots of Rhythm the children will be learning the techniques and not even know it!
We do a lot of modern dancing, street dance and I give the children the opportunity to freestyle. Dance can sometimes be so structured that all the fun goes out of it.
Dance should be exciting, challenging and rewarding for all children.
- All Classes are kept to a reasonable number so that children get the most of every class.
- Classes are held in age groups
5 - 10
10 - 15
16+
- Private classes are available on request
